Louis Charity Match | 8.09.2013

Zoe's pov;

Me and my best friend went to Glasgow, Scotland to watch and support Louis in the charity match he was participating in. When we got there we managed to see Louis, yet we didn't get any photo's with him or an autograph. :( Anyway we went inside to watch the game, and it quickly became evident that they didn't want Louis there. As they were warming up, they didn't even include him. He managed to get the ball during warm ups when it went awry. After warming up, they came off, and Louis was a substitute. But as they were calling out the names of the players he got booed. I don't understand this.. I still can't. Why would fans boo a 21 year old lad, who's trying to help out a cancer charity? (Leukaemia) It really irritated and upset me.

Despite cheering for him, and trying to make myself heard, as much as my best friend, there was no beating the boo's. When Louis came on he actually had to try and fight for the ball even from his own team-mates. They wouldn't pass him the ball! That irked me. He's there for the charity. This isn't a football game where there is going to be a serious outcome! IT'S FOR CHARITY.

When he did get the ball he was booed again, and again and again. Then to top it all off, a player from the opposing team hacked him, and he went down, and hurt his knee. Earlier on in the game, the referee actually gave away penalties and free kicks to the players that went down. So why was Louis any different? Is that because he's a pop singer? I find it absolutely disgusting that the poor lad had to get up alone, and wave to the people in the dugout to be taken off.

I got home and my dad had seen it on TV and he said the tackle was that bad that it could have broken Louis' knee. My dad watches football all the time, and he used to play when he was younger, so I trust his opinion on what happened. I seen it happen with my own eyes, and I thought it was terrible from what I seen, but my dad was able to see it up close and it was worse than what I thought.

Overall I didn't like the match at all, and the Celtic fans are a downright disgusting load of people to boo someone who is trying to play for charity. I don't think I'll go back to Scotland. Despite having a beautiful city, most of the people I came across were downright rude. I showed a little girl my signed one direction book from years ago, and I was happily talking to her when I heard one girl comment "Well I've had a hug off Niall!" I wasn't engaging in a competition. So why she had to behave like a jealous mare I haven't a clue! Although this happened, I did find some of the people lovely. This one lady showed us how to get back to the city centre. So Kudos to her!

Winter Warmers.

So winter is on it's way in britain. It's raining and stuff right now but hey that's normal for us brits! One of the things you'll need this winter is definitely a beanie. What better way than to keep your head warm and look cute!

I got a really cute cream beanie from New Look. It's soft and has gold sparkles running through it!

The centre photo was of me on the way to Glasgow. It was a bit of a long bus ride and I was getting bored. Hence the photo.

One Direction - Our Moment

  • Heart notes
    Jasmine Petals, Fresh Freesia, Frangipani
  • Top notes
    Pink Grapefruit, Wild Berries, Redcurrants
  • Base notes
Creamy Musk, Sheer Woods, White Patchouli
  • Scent
    Floral Fruity
  • Feel
    Feminine

  • When I wear this I can't smell the overpowering (what you would think) smell of the fruit. It does smell fruity, but it also smells floral and clean. It's a scent that you can build up and it'll still smell nice, but if you add a touch to your wrists, or neck the scent will still be there. It's not overbearing or really powerful. It's very subtle and actually quite beautiful. I love the smell of grapefruit, and again it's subtle. Everything blends into one and it's a gorgeous sent.

When I bought it I got the small bottle, because I wasn't a hundred percent sure I'd like it, but I do! I actually love it. Just because it's one direction related doesn't mean I'd instantly like it. I'm very fussy when it comes to my perfumes or what i smell like. I love the fruity scents, and sometimes I'm not over keen on floral, but this perfume is very subtle in all aspects of floral and fruity, so this is the only perfume that I'll buy with the floral elements, as everything else seems way to overpowering.

A massive well done to one direction for actually conquering something like this. It's hard to make a perfume that people will like because of all the different opinions, but I myself will buy this again and again!
